Responsible for on shift scheduling of feed and fuel gas volumes in conjunction with the daily gas nomination process and coordinating gas scheduling activities with LNG vessel scheduling and terminal operations functions. Provides daily communication with the Retail Electric Provider, upstream pipelines and customers to coordinate power and gas delivery as well as LNG lifting efforts; daily utilization of production planning and scheduling, cargo scheduling, gas nomination and power forecasting software applications. THIS IS AN ON SHIFT POSITION.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities
•Knowledgeable of all relevant contractual provisions for each customer
•Power load and feed gas forecasting, pipeline nominations and cargo scheduling during repairs, outages and shift emergencies
•Actively monitor, maintain and analyze daily and monthly reports working closely with commercial team
•Coordinate gas scheduling activities with LNG vessel scheduling and terminal operations functions
•Conduct the daily gas nomination process under NAESB standards among the customers, Freeport LNG terminal and upstream pipelines
•Monitor and document the transportation of natural gas from supply through liquefaction operations.
•Identify fuel gas and makeup gas needs within the terminal and notify Commercial accordingly.
•Meet with operations daily and react to any changes that may take place  from the end of previous workday, update Operational Daily Records
•Work closely with terminal operations to ensure nominated daily gas volumes and production goals are achieved
•Monitor compliance with the terminal’s gas nomination process, procedures and relevant sections of the services manual
•Maintain high-quality working relationships with customer scheduling/gas accounting representatives and upstream pipeline and gas accounting/schedulers
•Update Financial &Operations reports monthly as applicable to the position
•Act as back-up for the Commercial Operations Specialist during scheduled/unscheduled absences
•Provide relevant regulatory report information as requested
•Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by facility management

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience
Minimum:  3+ years of direct work experience (in lieu of degree)

Preferred:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
