Position Description

This position initiates and improves the efforts of Procurement and contracting to achieve lowest total cost and operational excellence. This position enhances the acquisition of materials and services by serving as an enterprise focal point for creation, extension, and maintenance of all SAP Outline Agreements and ensures the agreements mirror the Master Agreement. Supports Management Processes by analyzing/generating system reports and developing queries to provide up-to-date, accurate data to corroborate and assist in decision making/negotiation processes. Collaborates with other business units to identify potential business requirements that may lead to process or system enhancements. Analyzes, supports and actively participates in the development and implementation of strategies for designated spend categories. Responsible for delivering and tracking quantifiable financial benefits and value creation. Facilitates the transfer of best practices and continuous improvement processes and practices for achieving transactional excellence. Exhibits subject matter expertise regarding supply chain and financial movements throughout the SAP modules.

Internal:  Maintenance / Procurement Manager Direct report;  Operations Supt- Close liaison with regards to Operations purchasing, warehouse stock issues; Operations, I&E, Maintenance Personnel – with regards to services and parts needed, training, etc.; HSE Specialist- Close liaison with regard to HSE Policies; FLNG Legal - Close liaison with regards to FLNG contracts, purchasing terms and conditions.

External:  Vendors/Equipment Suppliers, Contractors and Outside Audit Teams

HSE Roles and Responsibilities:

Supports the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. Actively participates in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensures that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implements routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
